Feeling a bit chuffed

Because my brain doesn't work like an academic I sometimes struggle to know whether anything I think is valuable as it's sometimes hard to trace where the thought springs from.

I had this idea that it would be a bracing and encouraging and reassuring word for the congregation where I'm currently working to hear of the lives of people in church history who have significantly influenced or changed the church. We're undergoing probably at least twelve months of change and following the excitement of the early church in Acts I intuited it useful to hear from later times.

All this by way of introduction to the pleasure of finding one of the guest speakers has posted his contribution on Bonhoeffer on his ever so famous theological website.
